2. Type and Amount of Ice Used — block ice melts slower than crushed ice, while crushed ice cools more quickly.

4. Marketing Strategies — some companies highlight maximum potential that only happens under perfect conditions with no lid openings.
While this is a complex answer, we believe that ice time really doesn't matter that much. FOAM will take care of your needs on the boat, at the park, pool or beach.

To maintain a perfectly shaped FOAM please avoid leaving them in places where they would be exposed to extreme heat over 170°F, such as the trunk of a car as this may cause the lid to warp. Don't worry, the beach, boat, and pool is a perfect place for FOAM. Please avoid leaving heavier items leaning on or against your FOAM as this may cause your cooler to become misshapen.
To wash your FOAM, water will do the trick! For messier trips, use mild soap and water.
